Automotive Lab

The Automotive Lab at Tidewater Tech is set up just like a pro mechanic’s shop. You’ll get the chance to work on real engines, electrical systems, HVAC systems, brakes, steering and suspension systems, transmissions, and more. Take a spin through our shop!

HVAC Lab

Our HVAC Lab features all the different types of HVAC systems—both residential and commercial, so you can receive practical, real-world instruction in air conditioning, heating systems, residential and commercial refrigeration, and much more. Take the tour!

Welding Lab

We’re proud to say our welding facility is certified as an American Welding Society (AWS) Accredited Testing Facility—one of only four approved facilities in the state of Virginia. Here, you can train in flux core arc welding, gas tungsten arc welding, shielded metal arc welding, and more! Check it out!
